The inability to stay in one location is something that helps and hinders Zavik's ability to make connections in the world. Traveling from city to city or even world to world; always on the road; Zavik has found himself in the acquaintanceship of hundreds of people, but most of them truly could never mark themselves as friends or anything past gambling partners that want an easy coin. Though no matter the convenience or inconvenience of it all Zavik continues to move, perhaps from simple desire or something deeper like an animal running from the hunter.
While foolish, chaotic, and sometimes downright incapable, Zavik can still hold his own in a conversation and a bit of playful flirting. His tone was soft, eyes flickering a pale blue, using that last coin on you even though he hadn't fetched himself anything to eat or drink. It'd be hard not to fall just a little enamored as he told stories of past adventures and mishaps as if he was similar to a bardish song of a long-lost adventurer. It was enough to draw the locals in for a night of making merry and laughing with ol' Zavik, and perhaps somewhere further if the night called for such things.
Even though the gambler makes light of most events, an almost noticeable state of fear and nervous anxiety lurks all around Zavik. The occasional look over his shoulder as he plays cards or the sudden distrust of the shopkeep selling him some simple baked bread. When he sleeps in the inn for the night, the snap of two-three locks can be heard placed on the door as if to stop anyone from getting into his room. Whether it's a past event or a current problem, there is no clear indication of what causes these distraught habits, but nonetheless, they loom over him like a shadowy cloud. It'd be of ill advice to spook him or find a quick bullet.

Zavik's dedication to a task or individual is unwavering when it comes down to the roots. Whether you have hired him for a job or befriended the strange man, he will ensure all focus goes into whatever was asked of him. Naturally, though, commitment and focus don't always equal success, as his skill set can be...lacking depending on what needs to be done. Give just a small amount of time to focus on a singular job though it will be done with a masterful approach, the completion of the duty performed above the requested limit.
Having traveled the lands for so long now, Zavik has encountered many situations that he can quickly respond to simply from past ventures. The gambler has climbed from the depths of horrible circumstances and escaped the grasp of even worse figures that'd only wish to bring him back. Not to mention the vast wisdom and knowledge he bears in his back pocket, always allowing for his relatively low survivability in situations to increase to a solid 50% chance--which to say is much higher than what was to be usually a 20% survival rate the man would carry without such wisdom.
No gambling table can be 100% certain what the outcome will be, and the same can be said for Zavik. One moment the man could be interested in getting food from the local vendor to diving into a void portal because he thought it'd be intriguing. He follows the principle of: "predictability gets your throat slit and left in the alleyway"...as if this was his past experience. However, not only are his actions volatile, but his emotions as well. One to quickly snap upon the head just as soon as he wraps an arm around the shoulder to show you something unexplored. It's wise to step carefully with this one, as you would a mine-field or find yourself in a precarious situation.
